@lolly - i never said i didn't like your opinion, i merely think that surely everything is similar to work somebody else has done?

I am sorry, solidgold, but your website does really look like the Gordon Mac's website. The idea, the choice of colors, graphics. Sorry.

There is some resemblance. Either way, I am not a huge fan of bright green sites. They look very odd on LCD screens and hurt my eyes.

ALso, ur site seems a bit empty - it still needs much work.

Are u using PNG images for the links? If so that's a no-no because you want text links (better SEO) and those PNG links have some transparency issues on IE6 (it is not transparent like you intended but rather has a light blue bg).

If your buttons are just words, you'd might as well use text links (granded that you would have to use a standard font).

I think you still need some work.

I like your current site better.

i tried with just text links, but it didn't go with such a graphic heavy site, also due to the alt tag it doesnt have any effect on seo as the search engines only see the text, not the image.
i'm going to have a seperate css file for ie6 although only 1% of my visitors use it

Same problems as the original site... and BTW, it was very Gordy as others have stated.

I see you tout the Designer, sometimes developer, as your original site states. Question.. is anything you write valid? Your markup isn't valid now or then and your CSS is never valid. I'd almost hate to dig into your application coding, I bet its a zoo.

I know you're only 17, so I'm just asking you to tighten up your code before you develop too many bad habits. It's easier to nip it now
