Default Need final critique!

1. This brochure is suppose to advertise the city of Troy and lure tenants to the shopping complex.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions that you can offer. Please let me know if anything is confusing or if I need to fix any spelling errors or inconsistencies. Thank you very much.

Also, this is my first design project, so I spent more time than I should have on it and do not want to bill by the hour. What do you think I should charge for this brochure, keep in mind I had to find all of the information and take pictures of the brochure.

thank you very much, I appreciate your help in this matter.

Looking very nice indeed - I can see that you've taken on board all the crit we've offered over the two threads.

Are you pleased with it?

eh...this is my first piece that I have been contracted to do and I am just a bit nervous. Do not know what they are expecting and I had to learn how to use illlustrator and most of the photoshop in the process of making it. As long as a majority of board members thinks its good, I think I am just going to retake the front picture and be done. Thanks for everyones help.

If anyone still has some comments don't hesitate to post.

Well, let us know whether your client likes it or not - I personally can't see why they wouldn't.

I like it, especially:
1. The drop caps are very elegant
2. The image effects you added to the front cover photos (shadow)
3. Color scheme is nice too.

However, I think there is a bit too much text inside the brochure. Though this is more of a content issue; I may be wrong, it just looked like that on the screen as print may be different.

For your first design, this is very good.

Yeah, I totally agree. But I do not know if there is anything that I can really take out without redoing most of the brochure, which did not have time to do. Thank you very much for your insights though.

My only comment is on the typography. You have a whole lot of hyphens!

I like it. The cover is great--you've shown me, rather than told me, which I like. My only tip would be to make sure that it's all fully proof-read at least a million times. There is nothing worse than producing a lovely brochure or advert printing 2000 and then finding a typo. It's also very embarrassing.

Great work, especially considering its the first piece you've been contracted for. I'm sure you'll get plenty more after this.

Pete. :)

Yep, the broshure is nice, but...
I think 'FRONT' isn't good and you must create another. It's haven't style which you created inside. And I think foto placed not not good

p.s. good luck with your first project! =)

It's quite a good job for the first time. I liked all the images and the color scheme you've chosen, but I should agree with onyxlogix that there is too much text there. On the other side, however it's very informative what is good for a brochure.
