Has the download heft of a flash game -- without the payoff. Since the user really isn't sure of what the payoff will be, this is a problem.

I'd suggest a hybrid site which loads something immediately and gives potential clients a clue as to whether to stick around or leave.

A thousand unfortunate flash ideas start will "Well, all my clients have broadband..." Guess why they got broadband. They don't like to wait and haven't the patience dialup people do. Make a mental translation -- five seconds on dialup feels instantaneous and five seconds feels like twenty seconds on broadband.

I can easily say you really have some nice pieces over there. The thing that freaked me out is the navigation. Damn hard with those buttons. Guess you have to take care of the loading screen also.

Default Excellent Work, But the Navigation...

I loved the self promo piece you did under print that looked like a Pantone swatch fan. All of your work is absolutely top notch! Beautiful! Great job!!

But I agree with the comments above, the navigation for your portfolio is scary! Unique, but scary. And that's not a good thing. People will be frustrated (especially because it's so tiny!!). I'm not saying get rid of the colored lines. I can see that's a personal branding thing and it's nice. But don't make it the navigation. Also, make the titles of the pieces bigger and put them in the upper left corner. That's the natural place to look for a title. Give more information about the pieces, too. What exactly did you do for them? All the design? Just the layout? The photography? The illustrations? The copy writing? I would suggest detailing the programs used as well. And please make the images bigger! I'm sure your work has many details in it that I can't see

Oh! And have links to download those amazing wallpaper winners! Those are awesome!
