i didn't actually say, but the ad is ok - i was only pointing out the two points where i think you went wrong, and if it's like starscream says and you were fishing for coomments, then bad on you.

Wow.. that's looking really nice!! Keep it up buddy! Is that the finished product, or are you still working on it?

I think I would have to agree with Ian about the blocky thing in the corner. The ad overall is good, but those boxes don't make sense. What do they add to the piece? Nothing really, so they should be taken out. They almost look like a mistake (like jpg compression issues) because they are not distinct enough.

The gradient in the corner is appropriate, though, because it helps draw the viewer's eye through the piece.

The rose color (from the photo) that Cwilk mentioned would look good on the company's name (which would also help bring more color unity to the piece).

Nice colours but too much going on really. And the reflection off the text is a bit naff (sorry) - was cool when Apple started doing it, but now its hideously overused.
The first quotation marks need to hang in the margin (so that D aligns with the b and r). Also "Skin cleansing tip..." needs to align left with everything else.
I would also try bleeding the top image off the ad, rather than box it in... You're almost there really, just needs simplifying and having the basics tightened up a bit.

Surely having some real advice is better than us just patting you on the back, saying "great job mate"?

I feel like you could do a WHOLLLEEE LOT MORE with the type. Use breathing space. If its beauty, i think it needs to look more beautiful... like... a DOVE ad. It looks to functional, and I think the audience would not feel "beautiful" when looking at this.

My suggestions would be a simple type treatment (i.e. loose kerning, OR justified left w/ short sentences to leave negative space), and to take the picture OUT of a box. I feel like boxes are too functional. Like the one im typing in right now on the web... The ad is going to be in a rectangle, so the ad should make the viewer want to dive in. Yea?
