The second one is definately better, but I'm not sure about the wood background either...

There are three tramlines on the background that have a different V.P. to the photograph which unbalances the piece somewhat.

much improved :), I like the new design, but as was said, not too fond of the wood background. Doesnt seem to really fit.

What I would think could work is to have a surf board image on the right hand side.

Possibly just use a light beige colored bckgrd instead of a wood image.

The logo is nice indeed.

Of course this is just my opinion, so do what you wish with it :). We all know how hard it can be to find a suitable design and to find something that we (as the designer) find is right.

well...the customer thought the last designed looked like a PHISHING website. So I guess its back to the drawing board.
