Because the header is so large have you thought about putting the navigation at the very top?
useful wordpress plugins: Find me on (social networking), Google Maps for WordPress, contact form 7....etc.... site is looking good
The header is very overpowering. I would suggest scaling it down, relocating the navigation, or widening the site to 980 px. The wider size is much more standard anyways.
template design is not as much good.. This website is related to dance. so template should be attractive not dull
Have made many changes since the original post... feel free to reevaluate (if you happen to remember the old version) or just plain old critique!
