Wow, kinda late to this one, unfortunately.

Okay gerdez, I don't know your real name, but I think I'll call you Dillon—you seem like a Dillon.

Anyway, as I said I'm a little late to this one, Dillon. As all this was kicking off last night I was having sex with my beautiful (I mean really, she's hot!) girlfriend. You know how it is for us guys, Dillon—we have to do stuff like that so that we don't have to vent our frustrations on a foru… oh, maybe you don't know what it's like, eh Dillon?

Sorry Dillon, back on track. Let's just recap on what you said, shall we Dillon? You call me a CSS Guru. Now as nice as that is of you Dillon, I'm not a guru. To me the word guru paints an image of an old guy atop a mountain preaching pseudo-selectors to weary pilgrims. I gotta tell you Dillon, that just ain't me!

Let's begin to dissect your ramblings then Dillon:

So Dillon, you're aware of my CSS contributions within the web community. Gotta say Dillon, you knowing that will make my job a whole lot simpler here!
Well Dillon, my 'crap typo CSS junk' is better than this for reasons you yourself have just pointed out. Dillon, it's all in the CSS! This is where the Wipe The World's Ass site falls down technically, it's in tables Dillon!

Your ideal target audience Dillon, it's an ideal! C'mon Dillon think, how many people are on the internet these days? Hell if people as clueless as you are knocking about then who knows who else is? People can, will and do use IE6 Dillon, that's a fact, and Dillon, you have to cater for them.
And the point regarding tricks, Dillon; I use no tricks, I just code properly. IE6 is easy to work with, if you're using tricks Dillon, then you're doing it wrong :(

Ah Dillon. Dillon, Dillon, Dillon. You had to use a preloader? No you didn't Dillon, did you. Be honest with me now Dillon, the preloader was not necessary, was it?
And 24 to 48 hours? Dillon, I'll be honest with you, I have two issues here. Firstly: 24-48 hours is a 24 hour margin, so which was it? Where does that 24 hour discrepancy creep in?
Secondly: Dillon, I could code that site up in six hours, fully optimised in CSS. 24-48 hours is a ridiculous amount of time. Dillon, I think you're being a little lazy in all fairness…

Now Dillon, I'm assuming that was a typo? A quarry is a place where people get stone from. Your site is heavy, but c'mon! A quarry?!

Yes, he can, because it's his choice. It's not for you to decide Dillon! And Microsoft should conform to standards? Someone doesn't know their stuff, Dillon! IE6 was one of the first in a wave of what are known as 'modern browsers'. IE6 supports standards just fine, it's only as good as the code you feed it, Dillon. I'm thinking your code is not too good…

Okay Dillon now we're talking. If as a coder you were actually any good, you'd code a standards compliant and valid site first time round. The notion that a developer would write an invalid layout and then clean it up is frankly idiotic, Dillon. And yay! I can get it on an iPhone! This site will not be picking up iPhone users. The number of IE6 users will be vastly greater than iPhone/iPod users. Priorities, Dillon!

Dillon, c'mon! You think I'm afraid of what I don't know? I know a lot more than you Dillon—and I think you know that. I can control iPhones, I can control IE6, I can control Firefox, I can control Jaws, all from one stylesheet. I think you took the CSS Wizardry moniker a little too literally, Dillon—I don't actually do tricks.

You are once again proving you know cock all, Dillon. Being in a rush and taking 24-48 hours to code that site up? That just doesn't make sense to me Dillon, not at all. You had to use maps? Someone doesn't know their web standards Dillon! You use image replaced text Dillon, that's what you do! Then Lynx (I'm assuming it was another of your typos?) can do all it likes with your pure text link. Wholly accessible. You need to read some more Dillon. In fact, my magical website has just the ticket: Ultimate Image Replacement — The Harry Roberts Method?
That one's on me Dillon, enjoy it.

May I refer you to me previous point, you can't decide your target audience on the internet Dillon!

Yadda yadda yadda Dirty Harry. Point out the the terrible mistakes wiseass.

It's like this - you have a friend that can't code but can draw. He doesn't know the restrictions of coding for different browsers. He draws. You promised you help him out. You do not make a living out of coding, and never nowhere said that you are the best and the rest is shit. You just want to help out your friend as best as you can. You also have a job, wife, building a house in the meantime - so 24 to 48 hours mean not only coding, but living the real life also and making everyone happy, even the dog. BTW, the thing with your hot girlfriend was pretty lame, lol. So, you do what you know best to help this friend out. For free, because money was not a subject. Then you do get the site online, you know you could've fiddle around with it some more, but you did what your friend asked for, even if you're not a wizard like Harry here. Then friend post the site to your forum. And some sorryass 15 year old, begins to throw shit on your thing, you did from heart as best as you could, even if the time was tight as hell. Now, Harry Casanova, please tell me how would that make you feel? Would you let it pass, just like that? I might have been overreacting... but I'm not sorry about it. And still, with all the gurus of UK, there was no terrible line of code pointed out to me yet. Just yadda yadda yadda. Excuse my typos, please, it's a pain to use 3 languages daily and not to mix them up a little.

And to sum it up,it's not about the technique used, it's about the result. If you have to get to an unknown point, does it matter if you take the shortest road, or it's more important to get there? Which one is it?

Oh, BTW, trust me, I'm happy with who I am and what I do. I wish you have the same life as I'm having, when you're my age.

Anyway, as I said I'm a little late to this one, Dillon. As all this was kicking off last night I was having sex with my beautiful (I mean really, she's hot!)

You had sex WOW :)) it must me something extra for you if you make such a big fuss out of it and you need to justify yourself on forums like this, btw when it comes to "the kingdom" you should drop the idea of pretty wimin' :) or pretty man.... :) that island is not about beautiful .... humans :)) long live the queen :D

I think you jerked off the rest is like the curious case of.... Harry.... It's only in your dirty css imagination :)

Let me clear up another issue you don't seem to comprende'. I designed the site and gerdez coded it, while @ work :)

The preloader was necessary so you see all the images preloaded and so that they appear at same time, not one by one 'cuz that just sux' ass in 2009 but maybe you stubborn stoneage gentleman fancy it that way. :) The rest of us use firefox and don't bitch about having problems :)

The number of IE6 users will be vastly greater than iPhone/iPod users. Priorities, Dillon!

Well sure I guess in some highly evolved countries there are people who still wipe their asses with leafs :) and use ie6 :) good for you ;)

BTW you went a little to far with the optimization of your avatar when you saved it for the "web" ;)

Thanks for not banning us Harry Potter :) you're THE best :D We couldn't live without posting on this site, our life as we know it would just end :D

Kinda lost me there Dillon, I must admit…
I'm not surprised he did :D

Now don't go take it out on your beautifull gf. and rape your beautiful hand.... umm I mean gf. again this night u batty boy ayyt'?

It's a joy messing with you gentleman

    tee hee.

One: The girlfriend thing was a sort of gesture toward the stereotypical internet argument type person. It was neither trying to say 'Wooo I got laid!' or 'Haha you didn't get laid!'. It was merely a throwaway comment. A childish one granted, but still throwaway.

As for the rest, I stand by everything I said.

I think in there was mentioned the teenager thing and the number 15. One of them is right—I'm 19, so yes a teenager, but no, not 15.

About your stoneage stuff—I do not use IE6 and I don't see why people who have a free choice would, but that's me! You can't just decide that no one else should use it!

Your pigeon English means that I can't fully get what you're trying to say, but I do know that I can stick to what I said in the previous post.

Did you hear you master mr stone-age?!? I mean Scriptage.... the teenager design guru who loves living in the "UGH"-age using IE6 with the rest of the crew.... how many? 4600, wow... lot of ******s. You ride a horse or a donkey when you go to work right? Why use cars, that's so modern :D

Oh pigeon english :D i see... Your swine flue english is way better I must say, care for a tea?

Talk to me when you speak 4 languages at the pigeon-English-level I'm at ayyt'? :D

    WORD!
