Hello All,
I have been working on my company's (Aquarworks - a creative agency in Hyderabad , India) website and wanted to hear your feedback.
Its an animation company and the text sizes (screen resoloution) appear to be a problem to me and need to insert a logo and am wondering where to put the logo also any critiques on our works are also welcome.
Cheers,
anil

I am looking at a blank gray screen, with the word Aquarworks and an arrow.
Goofy. Not Creative. It leaves little "information scent" for the user, who is forced to resort to yet another click to (maybe) reach their goal (after all, the first click did nothing).
Then you get a vague, buzzword laden, introduction. Clearly you don't know what you're writing, "Specializing in design-driven creative's" is flat out meaningless (it might be grammatically incorrect if it meant anything). Art more like it, as you're trying to show off how clever you are, not how grounded in human factors or applied psychology (which is the province of design).
You're leaning hard on the fact you get "an" experience no matter what you do. You can tie a note to a brick and hurl it through the user's window and get "an" experience -- where any experience will do. Users want desirable experiences.
And you don't get to desirable user experience without understanding users and performing in-depth user testing.
Are you even cognizant of the UX design movement? Doesn't seem so.
The introduction left me with zero enthusiasm for going any further. I already know what your portfolio looks like without having to go there. I've seen a lot of goofy stuff, done for the sake of doing goofy stuff, already.

well i wouldn't rather agree with you any way thanks for the harsh criticism.
Your links etc are all hidden. Why do you have a pointer over the company name when only the tiny arrow has any hover effect? And why do you not make sure people know that the arrow actually does something?
I'd consider myself a savvy web user and your is plain unusable, sorry.
I won't be as harsh as the others - but the site definitely needs some work. It has some good ideas, but also some very big flaws.
1) You REALLY need to work on the texts on the site. One things is that there's a a typo or grammatical error on about every third word, but your language is pretty pretentious and overly promising. Your company may "redefine the production industry" but your site sure doesn't showcase that. Sorry.
2) I can see that you want to implement a minimalistic design, which doesn't have to be a bad thing. But the way you've done it here hurts the website usability. It's difficult to find the meny, especially since you can only click the small arrow - despite that the cursor changes if you hover it above the text. If you insist on keeping the design you have now, you need to make the arrow stand out, or your customer will spend the first 5 precious seconds on your site wondering what to do next.
3) The site is too text-heavy. You want to showcase 1) design skills 2) usability skills 3)text writing skills. Use some images, get some help with the texts.
4) The portfolio is loading too slowly.. you'll probably be better off a) using smaller images b) change the interface so that it takes fewer clicks to actually see an image. The way it is now, I feel I'm clicking to get to sublevel after sublevel, before I see the actual images.
5) There's no close-button on the full image previews
6) Videos are too small to see in detail the quality of your work
7) Do you have a non-Flash alternative to fall back on?

I agree with most of the comments. I actually tried clicking thinking it was some sort of "splash screen" (which I hate for the record). But no the navigation is just hard to use from a user stand-point.
The work in the galleries section is really nice by the way. But the lack of information on the site paired with the hard to use navigation would make me look else where if I was a potential client.
Sorry man, I don't like it. Doesn't show samples quickly, you are making the viewer work. Too long to load. Bad for SEO, unless you have set some javascript correctly. Overall look is pretty cool, but not something that should be used for a portfolio. Get into the work right away. Don't use flash because you want to, use it when you have to. Sorry just being honest.
