So I'm struggling to come up with a design for an app I've built. The concept revolves around twitter length "Yay's" or "Nay's" on a various product, then rating that yay or nay up or down depending on quality and relevance. So if the product is "iPhone" a highly rated Nay might be "Expensive" or "Poor developer support" and a badly rated nay might be "Heavy" (or something equally irrelevant).

I have done a preliminary design and the logo colors are flexible, but I quite like them. The grey's however are very flexible. I feel it's very boring and needs a bit more color, but I'm struggling to come up with any ideas as to where I can brighten it up a bit. ANY tips/pointers are appreciated no matter how dumb or offensive you might think they are :P Seriously, ridicule my design if it's how you feel. Anything I'm missing - let me know.

very nice concept...cool colors...think about moving the login up top more, since it seems to be a community based site, you may want that to be more apparent.

Cool - Are you a fan of the grey? Or just the logo colors?

I quite like the colours although the orange and turquoise could be a bit more of a striking hue. It looks very flat at the moment. I think what would really help as well would be to have a square thumbnail image of each yay / nay'd item - between the rating and the title / submitter information

Okay yep - makes sense. The picture thing, I'm already onto it. I've redesigned it a little, but haven't changed the colors much. Still think they are too flat? Let me know
