Default my own company

So i want to start my own company which would involve architectural services (ie, renderings, printing drawing sets, photography). I had this idea today that i just drew up and wanted to see what people thought so far

I don't like the bottom type face, use something more solid

I have to agree with Kelly; although it might look 'cool' online, I can't see it transferring well to print (stationary, invoices etc).

My first thought is that this looks more like "computer" and less like "architecture." Have you thought about simplifying a sample of your work for the logo? Also, a change of the typeface could make it look architectural.

Thats what I thought :P Or maybe you could keep the computer, but replace the paintbrush with an architects drawing tool?

well its architecture based, but the company is primarily about renderings. that was the thought behind the paintbrush... give it an artistic feel but still done digitally. i think i like the name font but your all right ahbout the other, i just like the style and put it there though it is not the best option... ill see if i can create some more ideas from your thoughts

i started working on a design for my website. after coming up with several logo ideas then doing the site i think the name is the logo. feedback would be greatly appreciated (since the only other website design ive done was for my office and is now on hold). Please dont get hung up on the thumbnail images since they are strickly placeholders.

Again, the purpose of the site will be to sell my architectural rendering services as well as rendering packages im creating.

I think it looks too much like a gamers website, why black? Also a severe lack of text on the site will find it very hard for google to rank your business site

the home page will have an intro, why black?.. well its almost black, but i guess i have a general tendency towards darker things (ie, my desktop backgrounds are all dark and black backgrounds). but i do see your point

o i did try some color schemes but i didnt come up with anything i liked, so i guess this was easier not necessarily better
