Default New Logo - Please Crit

I'm working up a new logo for my own site, "likethegoddess." Firstly, I want something more scalable than my current design. Secondly, I want something more compact and iconic. I'll add color and refine the design once I get the basic form down.

Please let me know what you think.

Diana

Hi Diana, I personally prefer the first one. Is it a bow and arrow or an arrow through the moon?

Thanks. I was working with a moon and arrow and realized the moon makes an abstract bow. Do it work?

Does it work?

I'd so yup - can be taken both ways...

Goddess... so a dash of feminine would be nice like an arched brow....

Thanks for the feedback, Fiona.

Diana is the particular goddess I'm evoking, the arrow showing her huntress aspect. I think a straight arrow is important to demonstrate vision and accuracy.

I appreciate the bid for a more feminine look. I'll work on that.

Diana

I prefer the second one Diana. The current logo is a bit too tall and fiddly for me. I'll be interested to see the final version!

Definitely prefer the first one, Diana. It's much more concise than your current logo and would work in many sizes. What sort of colour are you thinking of adding? Single colour or a couple of colours?

Like the concept although it looks a little chunky at the moment, I'd say the crescent needs knocking back a bit and the arrow also needs elongating a little.

Here's what I came down to. As far as color, I'm sticking with black or reversed out.
