Default Awaiting your critique

I have launched a new site LayoutsPack.
I'd appreciate your opinion on its design and usability

I like the design alot, the colours are great my only bad points are, the go button looks half finished and there's way too many images, loaded quite slow on my system which is pretty fast. Could you use more text instead of images?

welcome

Looks nice, but as far as usability/accessibility and code is concerned it's pretty lacking. You use the <center> tag, and images for your nav where you should use image replacement (mezzoblue § Testing Grounds). And your code doesn't validate by a long shot: 195 Errors.

Still, it's a nice design so kudos there. Logo could do with a bit of work though.

Welcome!

Thank you very much for your assessment. I'll consider the points you have suggested.

Like the layout very much. I'd like to see a separation of the yellow text+headers and the yellow links (FAQ).

One huge thing: still paying per-product rate?

Either add an 'a' after paying or make rate plural. - the former being the what you're after...

I'm always making spelling mistakes, hence why I pick things up - you spelled Sydney wrong on your testimonial page! I like the color scheme you chose, although I find the yellow on green text a little hard to read. Maybe a toned down shade of yellow would be easier? On a practical side, I would sign up for something like this unless I could browse the examples and even view some demo pages.

Love the color scheme! A little graphics heavy. Try and lighten it up using CSS for the buttons, the middle banner and pretty much all the text. It should be able to be done all via CSS (as long as it is a standard font, which if it isn't consider changing to a standard font that is similar in style).

Over all very well done and as others have said, triple check spelling and grammar!

Well spelling and grammar are always important but get more so the more high-end you're trying to make a site. If it's a personal website, a certain degree of errors might be tolerated. But when it comes to clear communication of what you do, it's essential.
