Default Portfolio Site

Hi all, just in the process of doing up a redesign of my portfolio site and in need of some feedback. The sites purpose is predominately to showcase my sound design and music side of things. In terms of the interactive design components the pixelated look of 'portfolio' in the main navigation is the over state and the blue-green pixelated smudge sitting over 'composition' is the over state for the sub navigation. Additionally the sub navigation (red nav items) show when their corresponding main nav item is hovered over.

Any constructive ctritisisms, comments, or thoughts would be great. Cheers.

@zumojuice
In what way are you confused?

@mikefortuna
Sort of. Most of the main nav items will have a sub menu; sort of like a drop down menu but it will appear above the main menu. So they will be appearing where those sub categories are, but different items for each main nav item.
