Hi

I've been doing Flash for 4 months now and here's where I've ended up to:

Henry Ahlavuo's online portfolio

How's the site working for you?
Thats my first semester exam project also (with a 12 page report).

on your about page i would make the story more distinguishable. It is hard to read. Just make it to where it jumps from the page instead of blending in to it.
Just my 2 cents though.

Seems to work pretty smoothly. Nice job for just 4 months under your belt.

There is a lot going on visually, with all the backgrounds, and side-reading text. I bet if you simplified some of those backgrounds a bit, it would help it "breath" a little. But nice job over all.

not allowing scroll bars is rather annoying on smaller screens

Gosh yeah. Well I got feedback that I should get rid of the scrolling bars since the site is that compact. For larger screens, theres a lot of unnecessary scrolling, and for smallers, its pain in the ass. so

wow 4 months...looks good,

I would work on the menu the images are weird, maybe something a bit cleaner, to focus more on the words, i find that type of lettering works well when the background is not too full, dirty yes full no...keep it punk hehe

also the spotlight..not a fan but yeah dont change those i just wanted to say they I find them distractive maybe its that red glow

the flow of it is really cool, you could also accomplish this with javascript.

the thumb pictures could be a bit bigger and cleaner they seem to be compressed weirdly.

your two school project look really great..

good job

pab

and yeah not allowing scroll bars is rather annoying on smaller screens...i agree
