Thank you! I always am inspired, however I haven't had a program to do graphic design in for a while, so I haven't been able to act on any of my inpsirations.

you have potential as an artist, currently i would say that it is irrelevant. i'm not impressed by your work at all. there is no focus, no message/theme behind each piece. all your color schemes were virtually the same and there isn't much experimentation in pushing yourself to make yourself get better by varying the composition of style of the art.

i will only say you have potential as a designer after seeing some work that shows growth as an artist in style and color/technique range. the fundamentals of art and design have to be practiced before they can be fully understood. you seem to have an enjoyment for doing this type of work but you need more than that. you will not always get to do what you enjoy so you have to be flexible and able to produce the correct style for the job rather than trying to force your signature style to fit all jobs.

frankly mine and everyone else's opinion on your potential doesn't matter at all because it ultimately boils down to you having the determination to devote yourself to it. i see a lack of focus in the work you provided so that is why i say no. you can learn and practice so i wont say you have no buisness going to college for it or trying to get into the job market... on the contrary! i encourage you to work hard and prove me wrong in my evaluation so that you will be better equipped for the work that will await you. if you wanna be a designer you have a long way to go and i will be among the first to congradulate you if you make it.

don't take this personally. i would say the same to any and all aspiering designers, including myself! designers have to be well versed in all styles and eras of art as well as keeping up with the cutting edge trends in technology. it's possible to get by without this but to turely succed and prevail in any designing situation you have to strive for it. it's a life-long progress that requires a lot from you. that's why it's a career and not just a job or hobby.

thanks for the extensive feedback! might comment on this again later, but i've only read this comment once, and it's a good bit to take in... with something like this i usually take some time to decide if there's any valuable advice and what to listen to and what I might want to ignore.

understood. wasn't trying to be harsh or mean... just noticed that no one had actually given you any advice or true criticism so i felt you deserved some. unfortunately i have a bad habit of being a bit too blunt for my own good.

no it's ok, i usually don't have a problem handling criticism, I'm only not going to really comment on anything you said now because I've having like possibly the worst day of my life (ok maybe not the worst, but you know ranking up there) and so 4 paragraphs of criticism suddenly seem way worse than they are, and because I'm in such a bad mood, if I responded directly to anything you said, it'd be so wrong, cause I'd probably just take out all my anger, of my bad day, out on you. and that wouldn't be very fair!

sorry to hear that, and i apologize for the unfortunate timing of my post. you seem to know how to handle situations within their scope and i congratulate you for that, most cannot do such.
