Love the logo and patterns at the top but I would drop that menu, since it's released it's been used on juts about every mac fans website it's not unique enough for a designers site

thanks for the crit, and yeah, i thought about that as well...i'll be working on an orignal nav soon...

can any1 help me create something instead of:

except one that works, making transparent png's reserve their transparency without affecting the images on the entire page? I'm guessing it's my actual java script..

Oh Mike I really like this!

The only thing that bothered me was the nav bar. I like that mac nav bar too, and have the code for it, but for some reason I just can't bring myself to use it on a site. And I think it's because of what lamploi79 said.

With as creative as your site is, the nav bar just doesn't suit it. But everything looks great! Love the colors too!

ETA: One more thing though...the MF on your logo stand out very well, but the rest is sort of hard for me to read...not sure what you can do about that though.

Do you have any spec? Pure CSS? Javascript? Flash? etc.

If it was me I'd put one right at the top filling 100% a little like the one I'm working on here

that's definitely interesting..no spec - i can work on any of those...just trying to get concept down at this point, i think you may have something with that top filling 100%, might be interesting, i'll try it out...thx toon.

I like the menu/nav bar, but reading other posts it seems like it's used a lot, and if that's the case, always go orginial, I think. Also as cool as the nav is, it doesn't really match the rest of the site, in my opinion.
I like the header/banner graphic a lot, love the colors and shaping, but I think your recent work examples below the banner/header are a bit of a dissapointment after such a beauitful header. But overall, nice job, I do think you have talent there!
