Entered a LS comp any pointers or thoughts?

All follow pretty much the same format, thanks for those who gave me opinions on the fonts earlier.

Hello Toon.

I didnt read what the company does and just had a look at the logo's.
They all seem a bit corporate, technology to me...
The variation and details and colours in marble and granite seems to be overlooked.

Easier said than done..I like them I just think they miss something.

I hope this is constructive :)

We would like to keep the SGM written (that’s the identity, however feel free to change the font if you want) and also keep the one colour red (we are opened to different reds, but definitely red!). These are the two basic conditions.

I would read the brief, it's hard to do granite and marble in red! I agree about them being very tech, but that's the fault of the red I would say

I didnt read the brief as I wanted to just see my reaction and thoughts to the logo without any knowledge of the product or company.

just an experiment

i agree. I thought they all looked too corporate for marble. I think it needs to be more artsy fartsy.

I Agree with the discussion about it feeling too corp. I think that the 4th looks most relative(only because the reflection makes it look like it is on a marble surface). I don't know, personally I like the 2nd best.

I prefer the 2nd, 3rd of the original post, and the last modified one looks perfect.
