Hey guys,

Just starting an online store for a band here and wanted to get some opinions on the layout and everything for it.

Overall I really like this - it feels clean and organized and will really help to showcase the products. I'm a little confused with the sidebars - they seem to take up a lot of real estate and have little actual content. It almost seems as if you could really refine it to be one sidebar on the right. Or move the logo into the left sidebar and provide more space for product images. From a functional standpoint I'd suggest to keep your search input near the top of the page -- assuming your categories list can grow, you'd want the search to be easy to find. Also, the empty space next to the box headers feels like a small icon would be appropriate and give some graphic quality to it.

The style is fantastic. A nice mesh of grunge with clean lines and fresh feeling. Good work.

I agree there are some logistics as to functionality for you to figure out. It feels like you have navigation on left and right and then content in the middle. It divides ones attention and causes you to not want to try to figure it out.

Just something to think about.

The empty space next to the headers were left open for icons which im working on now... and as for navigation, i was trying to stay away from doing a top of page nav. im going to move all nav to the left now, i didnt even realize they were split when i was doing it. ( it was late.) thanks guys :)

I like the style, but the layout isn't very user friendly. you should check out the WP Market wordpress theme. Its simple, but very intuitive.
