Light on Dark

I have adapted this site using a template. I find it hard to read the text on black background. I'd appreciate some advice on perhaps better color combinations to achieve better results. We do need to stay with red, and light on dark combinations.

I think it reads ok, you could try toning the solid black down a little more like the dark grey on the background, it would make it a little less intense

Personally I don't mind it. I think that the white on red in the table header is more of a problem. Maybe try increasing the weight a bit.

Nice site, I like white text on a black background & find it easy to read, i've used it on my website but have toned down the white to a very light gray so its not as dazzling.
