Same thing with the green. I'd just adjust it a little. The highlights don't add to the feel and the fullstops look wrong being so big and highlighted. Add a bit of space on the navigation between title and subtitle.

This is really coming along. You've gone for a really nice illy element at the base which I'd like to see developed more....

Thanks for the comments. I've done up a background for the top text links (which is still WIP), used a nicer font on the menu subtitles and shifted them down a bit, and I've also tweaked a few colours throughout.

I played round with trying to reduce / remove the full stops and that section falls apart completely without them as they are really the only thing adding any colour. Ditto for the link highlighting. As said above I've done up a (very basic) grungy looking link background for an anchor's in that area. It's removed that "oh look, a giant rectangle" feel but still gives a bit of texture, colour and variation.

P.S. thanks all for the help on this so far. I'm still learning my way round the world of graphic design but having others to bounce ideas of is definitely making it easier.
