Default Time to reorder my Business Cards

So, now that i'm a member of this website, and it's time to reorder my business cards, i wanted to see what other designers think of it. My logo isn't the greatest thing out there, but the more i stare at it the more i like it. It represents me pretty well. Anyway, let me know

P.S. i turned down the white outer glow already...

It's a nice style but it says disco DJ to me

If you simplfied it, it could work really well.

Perhaps consider dropping the backdrop (which i think creates Toon's disco feeling), and perhaps think about the logo. You've got a metallic logo, so why not think about a foil block for it over 'distinct'. It is likely to cost a little more, but may well be worth it.

Toon should be able to quote you a figure.

Also, I'd change owner to director if it's a company as it looks more professional and correct. If it is your freelance company name, then I'd consider dropping the word owner altogether..

Should it read director/graphic designer or just director. It is a business and not just a freelance thing so whatever that may mean.

Do you guys like the logo?

Don't take this the wrong way but text with a load of effects on doesn't constitute a logo.

It works for me. I rather that then the traditional graphic element on the left and text to the right, or graphic with text centered underneath it.

could lose the background, theres so much going on in that card.

i would just sketch up Distinct Graphics in you're own hand-made font style, and scan it up and then have ur information. thats all you need.

Sounds painful

Seriously, I think it's a little too busy. Could do with being a little simpler
