Default Portfolio Booklet

I want to produce a simple portfolio booklet to substitute a CV and to send to potential employers etc.

I've only been working on this for a few hours, so it's not finished yet. But I thought I would get some input right from the off. All the images are very low quality place holders at the moment too, so don't worry about that.

Print. The weird shadow thingy is meant to show the pages.

And if print what dimensions are we talking here?

I like your Brazilian flag, I like your font choices, however watch your ragged line breaks if you have a lot of text aligned right. On second look I would be look at changing heading position for "Brief". Something about it seems like it doesn't fit there.

Good composition, Bold yet subtle, nice work.

I believed it was but I thought I'd check all the same.

I like it, the type is good and clear, and the work displayed well. On the bottom one, I'd perhaps line the text up on the right, but that might just be me.

Two links to inspire you:
MadeThought
Mode

I've put these on because they may inspire you on how to present work, such as the alphabasic stuff to make it that bit more dynamic. It looks good, but next to the colour and vibrant nature of the spread before, it may appear a little flat. Made Throught simply places this as a slight angle, mode take the work in photographic images, where the work almost seems secondary. This would not work for you as such but just a few things to think about.

Each spread :360mm x 180mm

The closed booklet will be a square 180mm across.

I might move "Brief" up above the brief copy. How would that look?

I'd be tempted for readability's sake to left align but that's your call. The 'brief' above might just look a little odd.

I think that having Brief Above might work, but I don't know if you will need to do it with your other headers too if that is the case.

A little caution with that size of booklet. It is the in-between size of small and neat and substantial. It is the size of things that people through in the garbage because they can't quite stash it somewhere. I have had personal experience with it. But if the quality of paper and such are high up they might not toss it.

Just something to think about at least.
