Feeding on from seedy's post, design and consider who it will be sent and how the CV will be included. A brown envelope and craply folded CV probably just won't cut the mustard.

This is gorgeous. But I do have some problems with the text on the cover. That type of stuff is becoming overused. I like your font arrangement, but especially on the Project Pages image, it seems like it's misaligned.

I think right aligned could work because the info is short, but watch how your phrases are breaking up (second brief). And work on the text heirarchy, too. Try combining serif and sans, italic, semibold, etc, to help distinguish what is important.

I'm not too crazy about the title letters being so squished together. Usually the rule is "close but not touching." Personal preference, though.

Also, food for thought: Are you making clear what sets you apart? If I'm looking through 100 resumes with portfolio examples attached, will yours catch my attention? Why or why not? What makes you different?

Kerning etc. will all be sorted out when I'm laying it out for real. Right now it's just a big ol' Illy file.

Hopefully the production values and the quality of my work will impress. I wanted to keep the portfolio presentation brief and to the point. It follows my design philosophy of clarity of communication being key to quality design.

Slight update with left aligned body copy.

That works much better in my eyes, good job. Did you take a look as those links I sent you?

I did. I love how Mode display their work, although it doesn't necessarily show it off to it's full extent. I would quite like to print up a few of each print piece and photograph them myself for the booklet, but I don't have a printer at the moment and don't fancy spending a fortune on printing just to get the photos.

Yeah, that is a good point, but thought I'd show you as a potential way of doing it.
