to use them? No! Templates may be pretty but you should be able to do better.

not sure how you mean a good idea??? They are good to showcase some of your capabilities and it gives a client an idea of options they can choose in their custom site. It also shows your willingness to contribute free stuff to the community.

BUT... there are a billion sites out there that do it. It depends how you are trying to set up your business model, generally speaking.
