I like the nice clean style, lots of white space, not quite sure why you have a link at the foot linking to the same page, seems a little pointless but the design is really nice

    love the design

but having two menus so close to eachother is niggling at me... one down the left then just above the banner...

its ok maybe, if you made the nav-bars stand out a little, maybe a background behind the navs or proper buttons.

The design is nice. I think that it is clean classy and direct.

I do however feel that the contents of your portfolio are not quite fitted to the design of your website. Initially the last thing I would have expected to see in your portfolio page was a bunch of cars and car related websites.

I don't know if that is what you portfolio is going to stay as but if it is, you might consider redesigning the portfolio section to be more of a step between than the same.

Just a suggestion, I don't really know your intentions behind the site.
    This is simply my opinion...

Mmmmmm this is really nice and clean. I'd have a gripe over the title font; simply out of personal preference more than anything solid. I agree that the feel of the site (clean, open and nature) does not fit with the majority of the portfolio (cars, dark etc) I am guessing as you're either brother/sister or husband/wife that the site feels more feminine and the sites more mascualine. Therefore the site probably needs to reflect both. This might be as simple as the colours used or maybe more complex, it's hard to say.

The site has a nice, clean, relaxing feel to it. Overall, well done!

Couple comments... First off, when I was looking at the portfolio section, there was something about it that didn't seem quite right. But when I read Speedy and Zumo's comments about the portfolio relation to the over all site, I realized that's what it was.

Also, it would be nice to see more of the actual website design instead of just the banner images when I click to the portfolio section. I think it will give potential clients quicker access to your finished work without making them have to click 3 or 4 times to finally get to it.

I love the clean feel of it :) At the index page, I'd consider removing one of the illustrations though. As they are pretty similar and big, its a bit much. It must be said that the illustration itself is very nice indeed. I'd consider making a similar but smaller illustration where you have the top one. But then again, overall great work!
