Not bad, I'm no logo designer, but I'd add a little more colour to the mark. The green atm is a little flat, add some (non-cliché!) gradients to it. Give it a bit more depth.

The mark might work as it is, i would try out some smarter typefaces with it - maybe a serif for 'Bamboo' (Condensed Bodoni in caps perhaps?)

I agree, it needs some sort of texture or more detailing, otherwise it looks fab

I'd perhaps try opening up the kerning just a tiny bit and see what it looks like. I agree with the gradients but really subtle tones. Also, do bamboo leaves go up or down?

Slightly off topic of the icon but I did a logo a while ago for Bamboo Studios and the icon was easy as it was a symbol but I spent a long time picking the font, I'd avoid a script/stroke font and choose something a little more solid

well, thanks for the suggestion, maybe I need to add more detail in the icon, maybe some gradient and texture.

Personally I think it very good, well balanced and I actually like your choice in font, It is a little typical, I can say I have seen it (or something similar) on three different restaurants that have opened in the last year, but that just means that it is current, whether that is good or bad is your call.

The only thing for me is that your bottom right leaf is a little to large and seems to be an odd focal point. Just my first impression though. Again I think that it is good
