^^^^as above

With regards to the design with the site - its OK where it is now but could do with some oomph.

Change the background to be #4A4946 - the same grey as your thin, repeated, top bar. I would then also lose this top repeated bar but have a margin around it so your main website starts around 15px down from the top of the browser.

I might try adding a few fades too - and getting yourself a logo.

Yes I need to work on some things. I am thinking of designing some templates for wordpress and then posting them in a portfolio what do you guys think. Also I did some work last night and got a testimonial it was not really design it was fixing code so I didn't add it to the portfolio. see it here - Pryde Design :: The path to internet enlightenment

Maybe a good idea to avoid wordpress themes, there's thousands, try and do something a little more unique. WP themes and CSS showcase galleries are really overdone now.

Maybe more of a 'web playground' would work for you? A place where you can show off your design and programming skills on some live projects

is it maybe worth taking the testimonials off until you get a few more so they're not all from the same person?

i think its good though, functional and does its job

Thanks. They are just the testimonials from the only customer I've had. Reviews off of script lance. Two jobs and $100 is not bad for the second day after opening though is it. I'm redesigning the site at the moment will think about removing the testimonials. Will post here when I have finished the new design.
