You do realize a forum is a community not a place to get free backlinks to your uninteresting blog? You have 3 links in the post above, don't tell me your here to help the community grow, you're just another selfish so called designer who is out for they can get.

To be fair, you mention in your 'technique' that "Just notice that the size of the circle is corresponding to the total height of the texts in the design".
But your circle is not corresponding to the height of the text, and it is an oval not a circle...

Thanks blueocto for your comment, I know that it's not an exact circle, however, i can't call it an exact oval, what defines its shape should be how you can span the last three letters, concerning my word of corresponding, I am sorry if i used the wrong word, I just meant that it shouldn't be smaller than the height of the total texts, equal or a little bit bigger, relatively.

Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it.

Sorry Lolly if that's what you got from posting my tutorials right here, it was cruel to make such judjement by calling selfish, I didn't realize that it is against the forum rule to put my signature link to my website, or to post tutorials as a link to the articles in my website, if that is the case, then I would like to know how acceptable is that or not, and I will remove my signature link and stop posting tutorials links like that anymore, and the moderators can remove such posts i made.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I kind of agree with Lolly, the only threads you've started are links to your blog. How do you justify 3 links in one post? You won't make your site popular this way and to be honest your articles are boring are nothing new, if the content was good people would sign up to your feed and keep returning to your site but with a PR of 0 and no Alexa rank it obvious your content needs some work. Visitors need to find you, spamming forums deoesn't get your site popular you just make enemies with the other forum users.

Don't think people on here are stupid we see it week in week out, guy starts new blog, has 0 readers 0 link backs, 'what shall I do' he thinks, I know I'll spam my link around a forum in a cheap and nasty way to gain exposure. Then once somebody points this out you attack the people that mentioned it, attack the forum rules etc. when in all honesty if you had any knowledge or experience at all you should know it's not polite and people won't visit your site through principle, try making friends in the buisiness and they will be happy to help you promote your site but spam is the most annoying thing about the internet and you fall into this category whether you like it or not....

Which logo of those ones deserves the choice ?
Hi, this is my blog

If you don't call it spam you must be the most self involved person in the design world. You may see this as having a go, in all honesty I'm trying to help you out. The keyword as pointed out above is 'community' which doesn't mean focussing solely on your blog, try and join in with the group otherwise you'll find yourself on your own still trying to promote your articles and nobody will help you.

Best of luck

I wouldn't be too harsh, some people don't realize about forum etiquette if they're not used to using them

Thanks James Jones for your advice.

I would like to express my apologize for all users who might have misunderstood my posts and considered them as spam, and as Liliya said, some users aren't experienced with forums, it seems then that i fell under those unexperienced users, as I actually didn't mean to spam the forum with my links, I just noticed that most of users are putting links in their posts and i thought that there is no restrictions concerning such thing. I amn't saying that i am right, i am just trying to make it clear that i just missed the right way of dealing with posts.

Spamming or gaining exposure wasn't my aim, I was just looking for feedbacks and comments to improve my work.

I am sorry again and hope that you all don't get me wrong, and i really wish that my posts - that might have violated any rules here - to be removed soon.

Thanks James Jones and liliya for being helpful, and for Lolly, I wished your comment wouldn't have been too harsh, things can be resolved in a smoother way, however, no hard feelings.

See you all around.

I have to say though, if you want to know about the power of adding elements such as this of design and how they can change the balance, try Amazon.co.uk: Typographic Systems: Kimberly Elam: Books
