I did this for my cousin. She's a painter and photographer. She asked me to make her an HTML offline portfolio. This is what it ended up looking like.

I love the colors on the black. Very nice

the colours and the artwork are nice, but i think it's a bit difficult to read vertical text. Anyway usability is not very important for the artists website.
