Thanks for showing your process, keep giving updates! I like the direction so far, i think that as is, could be on a t-shirt. But, as is, it wouldn't stand out as anything special either. The variation in line width will probably be extremely important in this piece unless you plan on adding other elements besides the calligraphic text.

Your open swirl at mid-left is a good example of line width varying
