World Design Congress

[Lyrics]

Hey everyone. I started my internship with Icograda (google it) this past week. My first task is creating a magazine ad (and desktops using the same assets created for the magazine) for the event. This ad will run in numerous design magazines such as Commuication Arts, LINO, Package and Design, and many more.

I've just started, it's due on the June 20th just so that it can make the August and September issues of magazines. Arg...

Also, as it might sound, the World Design Congress is kind of important. Google that if you want to know more.

looks good, i'd probably have the white divider between the text lined up with the left of the mark rather than the 'W' but other than that...

More digital brainstorms

the plane is the latest one. I like its potential (a few conceptual reasons i don't have time to rattle on about now, but it involes "3 things" which works well with the three beams).

i like the first one yeah, i like the graphic in 3 - maybe it would look better if the text colour was changed to match it

So, even more brainstorms. It may seem like i'm having a hard time finding a start but this is sketching for me (supplementry to, not a replacement for, paper). Nothing here is meant to be even remotely close to a design.

I did however get a little frustrated after the last dark design. I went to paper for a bit, doodled, and came out with the right composure to go back to digital. The latest version is much closer to my original vision, and is feels right.

Apologies for the ****** quality on the last dark version, i cropped using bult-in windows tool which exports horrible **** i suppose (never use, just wanted a quick fix to get this up, now realizing was a bad choice).

Hopefully the next version you see will be a new sample of a current one and not something started from scratch again.

i really like the initial plane idea however the graphic needs to be move furter down towards the bottom

really like the first one on the page ..real simple, abstract and bold...it had an instant effect on me..........i do like the last white one too.....less is more sometimes.
