I created a new tempalte with three variations of colors. Any thoughts on these? I'm trying to create a wide spectrum of styles to suit various needs / wants. (which his hard because Im only at #16 now but im getting there). I also noticed most free templates look like dreamweaver templates which is something I'm trying to shy away from.

Hey Afox, nice push. The top right icon-links are a distraction, maybe a more subtle way of giving us a way to select the next template... I'm guessing the topleft author name (your name) is also temporary? If it's not reconsider it perhaps. Yes, you want people to know who the template is by for your own good, however it's counter-productive if it's lowering the quality (which now CERTAINLY leads back to your name, in this case).

The template itself is a good push from what i last saw. And i appreciate you are trying to stay away from the "run of the mill" templates provided with adobe software. The overall feel isn't engaging though. I sense a strong "this-is-(possibly-edited)-stock-art" feeling from your banner.

The upper hash pattern is an over-used feature in the garage-designers web-community (to the point of kitche often times, and sadly). The site as is in your case would be better without it. I think the strongest aesthetic of your site is the typography (alignment and separation). Your dashed lines are subtle but effective in helping the reader quickly differentiate blurbs.

Keep up your efforts Afox

I love that fact your building these to validate.

Just clean up your image tags, Strict requires "alt" tags!

line 97 column 23 - Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute
line 97 column 136 - Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute
line 97 column 242 - Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute
line 97 column 420 - Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute

Keep up the good work!
