Architectural Futures
 Had to create a conferece package for a conference on the future of architecture, and this is what I came up with for a logo. I'd like feedback although bear in mind I am not very experienced! I think it's great, it shows no inexperience what so ever it's a nice concept well pulled off, my first thought was the icon stands out so well that maybe the A and F could just be normal text and let the icon speak for itself.

Thanks! I can understand what your saying about the A and F, the reason I used the shapes from the icon was I just thought it added something to it.
Hopefully I'll get a decent grade for it anyway.

I like it, I agree about the type the icon is strong in it's own right but using the effect on the letters could be a little overkill. well done
