Okay so it's Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance playing the guitar(but its just his torso) I started on it yesterday, but it isnt quite finished. I've done it in Illy and PS. The hands are really the only things that bother me....i'll have to fix those later...

Well, time for criticism!!

Just the shadow on his leg and the highlights on his shirt, but since it isnt done yet i will do more.

Yeah good stuff, I like the way the Jacket style and the fret board have the same linier pattern it brings it together well.

Hands in Illustrator always tough to do I've only ever scanned a picture in and penned over the top of it.

Nice progress so far. Have you thought about not showing the guitar strings, that way it would keep the clean simple style.
Theres something about those strings that strikes me as odd but i dont know what...ah well maybe its just me lol

gazneale....she actually plays guitar and unfortunately got my trait in drawing; detail. So she seems to very much like realism. I think maybe the frets being a little thicker. ?

*looks at guitar* hmmm yeh maybe the frets a little thicker, or the strings recoloured grey. They seem to stand out alot

Yeah, well its not completely finished yet. The Jacket is just about done...just need some more shading on it. And the guitar is really the main part i'm still working on. It's just mainly the shading i have left for everything else though. Thanx for the tips though everyone! ^.^
