Photoshop newbie user

Hi this is my first post!

I am very new to Photoshop so please help and very slowly! Too.
I know Illustrator but not sure how to change a PS file in Illustrator even if you can.
I need to change the colour of these 2 simple shapes. See below text of what i need to do, but straight away i have opened in PS but they are padlocked.

So firstly how do i unlock image?
Then how do i change colour, all i want is to change them to C100,M84,Y0,K0

"You can take one of the predefined module styles, like the standard blue and open up the top two images (labeled something like "wh_tl_blue.png" and "wh_tr_blue.png") in photoshop and change to your desired color."

Not sure if you can, there is an adjust colour option in illustrator CS3

I only have CS2 anyway so will have to be photoshop they are only little things too
