well what would u suggest?...a lot of ppl can say that they dont like it...but if they dont give a reason then how does one improve. so far almost everyone who replied to this thread just about said "nah, i dont like it" but left it at that. also, since everyone comes from a different breed of design should i ask what everyone finds as a good photography or graphic desing card? post links, pics, even ur own business card or what ever. im interested in seeing what ppl think looks good.

zumojuice ur more of a typographer arnt you....? looking at ur site i see ur flavore is more cut a clean vs mine which is broken and wild. i have a greater understanding why u dont really feel my card now. lol me and you are like oil and water. im pretty sure u one who likes helvetica and sees its significance, but me....nah, i try to stay as far away from that font as possible, sure id use it on a high fashion add or corporate logo but i like flavore in my kool aid lol so to speak.

Well I see Helvetica as a lovely font, but it's not my favourite. Fonts inherit where they have been used and therefore change people's perceptions of it. Helvetica is like a dirty hoe, you know she's good but she's been around the block a few times. I digress....
I think it's like many have been saying on this thread, do you need a logo as such or should you like you work speak for itself. Many photo cards are almost completely one font, cleanly used, with a hint of colour. |

Hey, Nice work you have there. I agree with everyone else. You have a lot of options for a legitimate web presence that won't cost you anything. Just some time to set it up.
Wordpress.com offers a great free blogging software that can easily be used to use as a website / photo portfolio. There are tons of free plugins, skins / themes, etc. That coupled with all of the free hosting you can get puts you several steps ahead of anyone who build their website on MySpace. As as Toon and others were saying regarding the No-Follow on the links, if you don't understand that, it means that you won't be able to build any credibility on the search engines as MySpace has very effectively prevented any 1 myspace from being more popular than another as far as Google and others are concerned. Once again, great work you have. You're very talented. |

Nice shots! Great photo work. I think your card has a good base, your logo is great. I am presently working a new website for myself, in the meantime I used a free blog page to show my work to others. Check out Blogger.com
