Default imac

Im thinking of getting an imac soon and want to know what the 2.0GHz imac with 1gb of ram will let me run... i.e:

photoshop
illustrator
dreamweaver
flash

I would like to - if at all possible be able to have all of tese installed on it -not running/using them at the same time however - at most two programs.

Would I be able to do this and if not how much more ram would I need?

Thanks in advance,

Phil

It should run those concurrently without any real trouble - I had that spec for my new iMac (white version). I did install another 500mb of RAM, but the difference isn't too obvious to be fair.

Thanks James, thats good to hear :) I might just get 1gb installed straight away just to make sure I have no problems further down the line.

When you say "white version" I presume you just mean colour?

Thanks again,

Phil

Yeah white as in the colour - they released the new version a couple of weeks later! Apple also did the same to me with the iPod Nano recently... Booo!
