Ive never had a problem with CS3 on Vista, to be fair.

Alot of vista's problems came from people not knowing what they were doing.

The security features can be turned off and, if you knew how to look after your XP, wont affect your system at all.
The problem comes when you're setting up accounts and trying to run problems, i think - i got round this by having each member of staff be administrator of his own computer and having my computer run as System.

But never ever had a problem with it - it IS an improvement on XP. (and mac)

i'm anti vista because i hate acid-art layouts and glass bubble effects... well and the fact that it's microsoft. i would use nothing but unix if it were more user-friendly (i've heard that if can't run adobe products either, but i've never tried).

The iMac would be my choice from a creative point of view but many will disagree
Who says. My BEST choice is iMac because it is much better in functionality and performance.

iMac only gives you a default performance and functionality - yes its easier to find your way round the OS, but you can only do so much with it.
The fact of the matter is you can build a better PC for the same cost if you know exactly what you want out of the machine and it'll match, if not outperform, the iMac.
