Anything Wacom. They're great. They're the only tablet manufacturers whose pens don't require batteries or wires.
Accept no substitute.

I have a Wacom, paid £40 for it, and I never use it, as I am more accurate with my mouse, but it is a Logitech G5, im sure if I had a better wacom I would like it.

It's a personal thing I think, I used to use mine for everything whilst I was studying... Then I stopped using it (can't remember why) and haven't really felt the need to since

i have a wacom graphire4 and it's ace. it does take quite a lot of practice to be as good with it as you would be with a pencil and paper but definitely worth it :D

one of my guys uses it for everything, just like a mouse. He typically is doing more illustrator work with it, suppose it just depends on personal preference.
