I don't know what you guys think of A CERTAIN FORUM, but is it just me or is it full of designers who have no idea what they're talking about?

They seem to be more obsessed over the concept of a design than it's actual visual appeal...

And usually their concepts are ridiculous, horrible, and would never be understood when seen by the general public?

They're completely oblivious as to what people like and how to capture their attention and despise any new techniques or anything that doesn't have a really solid concept behind it that took several hours of sketching before bringing it to a computer?

When they actually bring their concepts to the computer, they always turn out hideous and awkward. But they convince themselves that it's a good design because of the concept alone?

I really think they over complicate design to this weird level where it isn't fun anymore.

Anyway, I don't know if any people from that forum frequent here or whatever. I don't really care who I offend, these people drive me crazy. Especially zT (HINT: READ IT BACKWARDS). -_-

Has anyone else noticed this or feel the same way? XD

And man, the forum itself is ugly as hell too, don't you think?

I don't have a problem with it, after all it is the biggest in the world and they've done a good job to keep it pretty friendly, their success is maybe their downfall as you can get too big it seems you're 'just another member' it's not as personal as it maybe once was.

Maybe not a good idea to have a live link if you're going to have a pop at the place, better if people just copy and paste, don't want to upset anyone.

Some are really well designed others are pretty awful, some don't care about the way they look, some don't need to care
