Default Resizing 4:3 to 16:9?

I have a bunch of pictures of mine that I would like to have on my website, but I would like users to be able to download them in the resolution of 1860 x 1050 < i think its that.

Is there a tool in PS or a online resizer that will put the image into that resolution without distorting it.

I have CS2 and Light room. The images are currently really high such as 300+.

Thanks.

Any resizing with any program is going to cause loss with raster images, Downsizing will produce significantly less loss of quality than upsizing, From 3000 to 1800 is doable with good results, I would set up an action in photoshop, And batch them all?

Just don't change the aspect ratio of the pics. Stretching = bad.
Crop if you need to.

^ Exactly, From them ratios though you shouldn't have to crop a whole lot if any.

I know I can crop, but is there a way to crop using CS2 so that it will do it to a set dimension? or will it tell me anywhere, I want to crop it to 1680 by 1050.

Thanks

Before you do that though, resize it along one axis (while maintaining the aspect ratio) and crop the other one.

Hm, How would he go about automating this process? Reduce image size by a percent like 40%? Leaving enough so itll crop correctly, then using canvas size to get to the exact size? And that be his photoshop action?
