Default Recycled look for business cards

Hi all,

Trying to emulate a particular recycled look for my business cards, similar to the labels that you get on new jeans, see here:

http://www.brooklynrecord.com/Wmbrg_jeans.jpg

I have a couple of questions, first off, is this particular look mostly achieved from type of stock you print on, or, is it partly to do with the how you design it, obviously I'm taking backgrounds and images out of the equation, I'm just thinking about the texture of the background for now.

Thanks

I would assume they have to use a certain thickness of stock to make sure when it's bent the crease remains and they are probably run though a folding machine to add the aged look.

(welcome by the way)

Hi toon,

Thanks for the speedy reply. I love that aged look, the crease in the example I shown is pretty cool but not essential for my needs.

Don't suppose you or anybody else here can recommend where I can get business cards printed onto this stock. I may try my local printers but they are a little pricey, if I can find an online printing co. that would be good.

Thanks
Lee
