Master's Degree in the UK

Hey all,

I have noticed that there are lots of Brittish designers on this forum, and I hoping that some of you will be able to help me!

I have been thinking of going back to school to get a Master's Degree in graphic design... in the UK (I currently reside in the US). Can anyone recommend any schools or programs? Are there any pros/cons I might not have thought of? I'd love to hear all perpectives!

MAs are hard to come by and expensive! youll probably need a sponsor to help fund it! not sure what the rules are on non uk residents and education at that level?!?

Why you want to come to the UK to do it? Cant it be done in the US?

It can be done in the US, but I want to live in another country for a little while :)

Dave, what do you mean by a sponsor?

there are sometimes companies/charitys that will help you out with the cost of a masters or a doctorate. they are harder to get than the places on the course thou!

I think sponsor is the equivalent of getting a grant or scholarship in the US. However, I do not know how much of a UK organization will sponsor a US resident.

Best bet i think would be to call up some admission offices over there and find out what requirements there are for a US resident to apply oversea's .
