300 Images From 1800 Sites is not about copying, it's about not going off in your own direction and leaving users behind.
Also, sometimes it is a good idea not to do what everyone else is doing. For example, having breadcrumb arrows facing the other way does seem to make more sense. A very useful site that should make you think before getting that brainstorm for an icon nobody can figure out.

I can't believe there's more cart icons than bullets, there must be thousands of interesting bullet points.
