Default Istockphotos

Hi All

Does anyone on here sell their stuff on Istock?

I can't find on the website how much the royalty payment per download credit

What other sites are worth considering for selling images (mainly vector illustrations)

Cheers guy and gals

There are quite a few photographers and illustrators on board so they must be making profits... somehow...

I was speaking to someone about this the other day. iStock and similar sites pays pennies to people who submit photos, but many aspiring photographers start out selling their images there as it's so easy to register and start selling.
Many of them did this as they thought it was a stepping stone to selling their work elsewhere but there is a clause with most of the stock sites where you can get decent money for an image (corbis, alamy, getty etc), which means that if you've had any work on istock, they won't allow you to sell your work through them.

Just a warning in case you're hoping to make big bucks with your pics!
