I have heard about MooTools which does transitions between web pages without the use of flash, but is their any other tools besides MooTools that does the same thing and possible a bit more easier?

Spry.. but I don't know that any js library is going to be "easier" than the other to learn. MooTools is quickly becoming a standard it seems. They have excellent documentation, demos, etc... might as well dabble in that.

There's plenty of plug and play widgets and such out there, you'll just have to search for them specifically
