Default Vector Diamond Plate

Hey everyone. I'm looking to see if there is a tutorial anyone knows about or the steps necessary to create diamond plate that looks like the file attached. It needs to be vector so it can scale to 50 foot by 12 foot.

Are you not able to trace it yourself in Illustrator (or similar?) Im sure it is a simple enough shape, that you could just repeat?

I am but the problem is it turns into this. Plus it needs to be very detailed as it is going on the side of a tractor trailer

Do you mean scale that one pattern segment bigger, or create a whole bigger image of the pattern repeated? If you're trying to repeat the pattern and make it big, you should use the stamp tool in photoshop. If not, you should should try to copy and paste the image and put the copied images next to each other.

The thing is be is insisting on vector. The stamp tool wont help me there. Want to thank everyone for there input. I'm waiting to hear back from the client, told him its going to have to have some raster components. If he still demands all vector, I'll prob send him elsewhere.
