Default The Estetica Collaboration Thread

OK. Here is how it works:

From the pre-thread a list of interesting designers so far as been created, the first person on the list (me) will create a file as a PSD and a jpg version here. The next person on the list will receive the file and will add their effort to the work, send the unflattened PSD to the next person, and post a high res JPG of their contribution, and so on and so forth.

This way, the forum will be adding to the piece one person and a time and detailing the stages.

Rules:
- Work can be anything that it yours, be that photos, illy, drawing, painting etc. To use other's work or too much stock is to cheat yourself and us of what you can do.

- The PSD must remain unflattened for easy editing. The file is a PSD so the maximum amount of people can enter. A jpg entry will mark your effort, so we can all see how the project is progressing.

The current list is:
zumojuice (submitted below)
LeadMagnet (submitted)
LaurenMarie(submitted)
Jeffross(submitted)
simpletouch(submitted)
Andy1982(submitted)
pingsweetie(submitted)
Toon(submitted)
Flick
Acuity
Paddy

If you wanted to be added, show your interest in a post below. If the thread gets to you and you're too busy or you go MIA, then you'll be placed to the bottom of the list and it will go to the next person down.

So, without further ado, I present the start :

I've gone for the theme of journey, as this is what this work will become.

Lead, the PSD is at http://www.zumojuice.me.uk/collab/es_collab.psd

Ok, i have digested your mind words and have shat out this scribble:
(click for a larger image)

PSD is uploading to here as i type: http://www.eoingriffin.com/images/ecp/es_collab-2.psd

Next contestant please step up to the plate :)
I'll leave PMing up to you zumojuice

*edit* P.S. I'm sorry... i don't know what i was thinking.
*edit2* I decided to upload a partially flattened psd. Each main element and adjustment layer is still there.
I also have a 35mb psd (400% larger resolution of that same psd) and a 45mb psd (contains every little layer i stuck together to make that thing and various colour layers. Not really important i think, but if you do need to edit something contained in those layers, let me know.)
Oh, and obviously i used a reference photo, but i did paint this by hand (mostly with the burn tool). No tracing.

Alright, for anyone else that wants it:
Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Sweet! Thanks for starting this Zumo!

I was part of an online Exquiste Corpse art group where we would send images to each other and build on the last 20 (or so) pixels. It was pretty cool. Had some similarities to what we are starting here. Looking forward to my turn!

Acuity, I've dropped you to the bottom of the list as you're obviously a bit busy. Laurenmarie, you're up!
