So with me doin these small jobs for this 1 girl with the massaging company, will i have to go threw revenue??

Yes

Im not makin that much from her as im only strted and shes my 1st client.

Technically, it makes no difference, if you make no money.. the intention was to make money and therefore your classed as working.

Will i get tax'd heavy if i claim it as my 2nd job? even though i might not get that much work from it at times??

Your 'personal allowance' probably has already been used up by your 1st job, it just means you will get taxed, but only depending on what you make and how much your expenses are.

Get your butt on msn if you have tons of questions about it lol

What a great thread, Helpful! Honest! Hint of Humor!

We should have more like this! (Less web 2.0 posts though)

if you make no money on a job - what exactly are you being taxed on? or merely does the tax man need to know you tried so he can laugh at you.

Exactly that. They see it as working with the intention of making money; even if it results in a loss. So you would just have all your time, costs etc for the job, but in your 'earnings' you would show a 'zero'.
I suppose it helps if you are trying to claim expenses but made no money; you need to show where those expenses originated from.

I know, because I will be working at a loss this year! lol

im ok at snappy snaps as it is for the moment, but i will be lookin for a more better job soon that leans more to my career plan, i get good experiance with snappys but its more photo shoot based work for me and its children gggrrrr half the time id love to tel them to S T F U and sit still lol

at the moment im gona focus on makin contacts and getting noticed for my skills, maybe do a wee job on the side! and when i get enought contacts ill start goin threw the books.
