mmmmm how do you feel towards print? or is your design interest purely web? How would you say you are on photoshop and what does the work you do on it go towards?

umm i am more interested in print work but the design part thought such as business card, flyers, posters, pop art, canvas art,

i like to to photography too, but mainly landscape/ motorcar photograpy, not really into people photos. i am not too bad on photo enhansing either.

on a scale of 0-10 i would say im and 8 in photoshop, and it leans more to art work as in anything that looks good, print wise.

i want to get into web design as i want to build my own website and it would be a good service to provide to clients in the future if or when i go freelance!

As for the web stuff, i would suggest that in order to keep on top of it, only learn what you need when you need it. e.g. You see an effect you like or a style, find out how to do that.

You're probably not going to make a career out of the coding side of web-design if it confuses you too much. Don't bother learning all and everything about webdesign if you don't need to.

And if your visuals are good on that end of webdesign, there are plenty of people who can code who you could outsource that part to. Most webdesigners can either code really well or design really well, but it's rare to get 1 person who can do both well. Not saying that they're bad, but it's just that whole logical vs artistic mindset that tends to contradict in people's heads.
I personally suffer from being too logical whereas i'd imagine you suffer from being too artistic.

Ok, sounds like you have a good use of print/photo work, so I'd start building that first. It will also come in handy with the web design side of things.

The thing with web is there is a LOT of it; it's ever changing more than anything else. If you able to understand a take on the coding/tech side of things quickly, I'd expand into that from your design/photo work. If you feel you're not all that sharp computer tech wise, they you might be best staying in the one or two areas and being great at them...

With hosting and setting up, there are plenty of us who have done it at various times and various ways to be able to help, plus their our tutorials, web help and stuff.

Lead has made a great point - You are either an artistic person or a logic person. To that end, I often feel 'web designer' is a partially flawed term.

Its a mis-used term really. A web-designer technically does just that, 'designs'. Visuals, navigation, structure, that kinda thing. A web-developer is the person who writes the markup and other coding etc. Gets the design from theory into reality.
The problem is that 'web-developer' is analogous to php, javascript or flash development and not really (x)html & css which aren't really programming languages.

Sorry for not reading through all the posts but I'm so busy at the moment. I just skipped to the end and read the final post and I would say get a job at the massage company and pray your boss doesn't visit any time soon, hope it works out mate!
